The Travel Bag I Stand Behind

Stylish travel bags and a whole set can be a costly investment. With the way checked bags are being tossed around, I always hesitate spending too much. As soon as you check your bag at the counter, the agent slaps a sticker on the side of your bag and adds the bag tag with expediency. You’re at the mercy of their placement. It could be on the leather where it mucks up the surface and leaves sticky marks. Meanwhile the belt bags stack up to three side-by-side and getting trapped on the carousel.

That’s when I really got into looking for a bag that would deflect damage as best as possible and not give up on style, entirely. That’s when I found the Italian luggage maker Bric’s. The X-Collection is made of soft, lightweight, waterproof and durable recycled nylon. It’s important to have some soft-side luggage for ease of placement in the overhead bins and if you’re sharing a rental car or being mindful of space with a group.

Bric's X-Collection Travel Bags

The black carry on spinner and weekend roller with tan leather accents is the perfect balance of style and durability. The two bags have been with me for years on numerous trips and still look new. The fabric has been so easy to wipe down and keep looking amazing. The bigger wheeled weekender fits A LOT. I’ve shuffled back and forth to Beirut with months worth of clothes in there if you pack smart.

After getting this set, I’ve been happy to tote them around even on fancy trips with affluent travelers too. They get many compliments and I recommended to many.

Happy travels! Let me know if you gift yourself a Bric’s piece.
