Woah, next week is August. Julying! OK yes I saw that on the internet and had to repeat it. It’s time to take fall and winter travel planning seriously. It’s no longer “shoulder season” when the demand is this high.
Look at places for fall like Asheville, Acadia National Park, Ann Arbor, Napa Valley and more from this handy Forbes article. Now that the euro is in parity with the dollar it could be the perfect time to get to Europe and bask in the final breaths of summer in September or October when you can catch harvest in France and Italy for example. Seven years ago around this time I was in Chianti staying in a small town, and I’m dreaming of heading back. Look at this view!
